Parched and I Want Ramen!

Hello world!

Just waking up and ugh my day already has a long story and it's only been about...20 minutes so woooo!

First of all I usually start my day with a trip to the bathroom and as I flushed I noticed the water pressure was extremely low so I just shrugged my shoulders and proceed to wash my hands. With a hand full of lavender vanilla scented Lysol soap (*deep inhale* ahhhh smells sooo good in the morning!) I go to turn on the water and low and behold nothing comes out. I stand there with my jaw agape with a handful of soap that's not going away any time soon without water.

So,like most if you probably has done, wiped the soap off on a towel as best as you can to avoid sticky soap hands and pick up the phone praying you didn't forget to pay the water bill.

After a lovely representative hanging up on me I call back and get so help and go to find out there is another outage. Fan-effing-tastic!

Second outage in the same month...in the hottest month of the year...in the middle of Texas...brilliant.
After some pondering on what to do I settle to cool down with some Hulu and as I stare at my phone screen I notice the signal disappearing. Nuuuuuuuu!!!!! Et tu Wifi? Et tu!?

As I was having my little drama moment the knocking on the door nearly making me fall off the couch from being startled and the dog barking as loud as she possibly can waking up the whole house in the process.

I'm so easily startled in the mornings...

After explaining to the neighbor lady what's going on my day finally settled down as I had time to ponder what to do from then on without water. Now I really wish I would have invested in some bottle water. Of course my quiet time didn't last as everyone awakened and began to start their day asking me the same question about the water over and over again. There goes my morning alone time...Le sigh.

What's worse is when my water is out I always crave ramen or miso soup and I can't have any! I always crave a particular food when I'm out if something it's not fair!
Do you ever do that? Like you want to make your most favorite cookies ever at like 1 in the morning and you are short of that one ingredient that makes it super awesome but you're too lazy to go to Walmart to get it?

Walmart is like a 45 minute drive from my house down some hills in a very rural area so the dark and possible deer running across the road is enough to make me stay put, but do you see my point here?

Why must we desire what we can't have? It really sucks sometimes.
It is now late in the evening, the water is back on and I've just enjoyed a delicious big bowl of ramen soup!Mmmm mmm!

I used to not care much for ramen growing up because it seemed boring with just noodles and broth if you don't have a completely empty stomach. Now I can't get enough of it thanks to Naruto seeing all those delicious and colorful things you can add to it to really spice it up! My most favorite things to add to ramen is bok choy(or regular cabbage), carrots, potatoes, celery, soft boiled or poached egg, and beef stew chunks!

Call me weird but I really love mixing beef stew meat in with the chicken flavored ramen. The flavor clash is just soooo yummeh! Don't knock it till you try it! the soup in the photo I only added some potatoes, carrots, poached egg, and chicken breast that I cut up into bite-sized pieces. It's a pretty simple meal especially during those night when you really don't want to spend hours in the kitchen. I love cooking but sometimes I need a break night and ramen is usually on my top list of meals that don't call for a lot of ingredients nor time.

If you'd like the recipe just ask :D.

Off to do the laundry! Yaaaa!!! *sarcastic hands waving in the air like an idiot*
